    school

This appears to be the biggest question for parents, teachers, students, pupils and other stakeholders in the Nigerian education system. The answers have been changing occasionally from August 17th 2020 and in recent times, we have heard certain dates for September.

What this article would do for you is help you with useful information and directives as to when and how to prepare to return to school or return your children to school.
We have observed that the Federal Government is trying to meet the educational needs of the masses and would not risk all but control the spread of Covid-19. The government finds itself between protecting the masses and meeting their needs.
Thus, the government must have thought a better plan. And that is to resume gradually hence the reopening of schools for WASSCE candidates and now some states like Lagos have declared their tertiary institutions to reopen with guidelines.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday 29th of August announced the reopening of tertiary institutions in Lagos state. He announced that tertiary institutions would resume on the 14th of September, 2020.
With the streak stated above, we strongly believe that nursery and primary schools could be reopened within two to three weeks after the tertiary institutions. It is possible that the government wishes to closely observe the rate of Covid-19 in Nigeria before reopening all its institutions.
With these insights we have shared with you, parents and caregivers must begin to prepare towards returning their children to school, soon.
Also, Parents and Caregivers must look out for the opportunities schools have to offer at this time. Be assured that this could be the best time to rate the capacity of your school or look for a school that meets your need.
